This site was born from a challenge to ‘pull the curtains back’ on childhood cancer. Each year in the United States, over 15,000 children are diagnosed with cancer and 1 in 5 of them will not survive. These warriors are the inspiration for thousands of doctors, nurses, researchers and advocates that are working to find a cure for every child. I am one of those thousands and my admiration and love for these children reaches far beyond the confines of my white coat. I hope you will be inspired, educated and motivated by what you see as I draw the curtains back day by day.
